..more dark blues.. I find 'Burma Star' a very satisfactory Clematis, it doesn't overwhelm me at 5-6 feet, and has never been a problem.. very suitable for a smaller obelisk.. ..blue Geranium muscling in..
'The Vagabond' is almost non stop.. 'Roguchi'.. herbaceous. I failed to pinch out the growing tips so it got away from me and is now very tall and floppy as the support isn't tall enough for it really..
Florida plena bought about seven weeks ago from Taylor’s and already bigger than I expected. I do love the flower colour and shape. ( apologies I can’t see how to turn the photo right way up). In the background another new clematis bought from them on the same day but not yet flowering . It is venosa violacea.
Ive got a few morrisons cheapies, soon get going, heres jacmanii various others from Taylors etc; super cute; Andromeda, single form, double later Taiga Sieboldii
@Marlorena Taiga has really grown on me, its lovely scrambling up the pear tree. Ive finally managed to get an omoshiro. I think big patio pot for now with some seasonal bedding and a dinky patio rose...
