I hope mine are as gorgeous when they grow up Marlorena!
Pink fantasy Belissima, planted with an Almond tree in memory of a beloved hound "Lovely" Taiga romping up a dwarf pear tree Sieboldii climbing a dwarf apple
Andromeda in single form, double later in the year. Ive had this about 12 years to 3 houses! I broke the stem and its loved it so I think I better prune it next year! I think this might be Vvyann pennell? Lost the tag so its a Morrisons cheapie a few years ago so would likely be a common / popular type
Forgot to add, if you recall me buying a 'male' Cartmanii to pollinate spring sensation, here's the results! I brushed the flowers to make sure at least a few were pollinated, but there were lots of bees too and look at the fantastic seed heads!
@Marlorena it did! They are so quirky looking, Im so pleased. I never would have known they were m/f plants or what to look for (stallholder didnt know male or female either, so I pulled the thread up to check!) If you hadnt shared those facts, and now its got even more interest for longer, so thank you!
''bad hair day'' seedheads on 'Miss Bateman'.. 'Burma Star' is a nice deep colour, never gets more than 5-6 feet for me.. I'm training 'The Vagabond' on these railings..
