Some kind of field grass. It grows into big clumps rather like a low growing bamboo. Creeping buttercup. Is Bitter cress what I call Shepherds Purse? It has tiny white flowers and seed pods which spray seeds everywhere when touched.. Brambles. Celandine, a nightmare. the bulbils are like grains of soil, difficult to see, difficult to pick up.
My new plot has (deep breath) Russian vine, bindweed, ground elder absolutely everywhere, geum urbanum, few flowered garlic, nettles and celandine. I think I’m on top of the Russian vine and (possibly) the bindweed. Actually one plant annoying me at the moment is cow parsley! I don’t really hate it, but it’s everywhere and has a really long tap root.
Going to either be nettles or brambles, I’ll let you know
Currently nettles are winning as they are everywhere, I dug as much as I possible could out but I’m still seeing bits pop up. They go all the way out into the lawn but I’m hoping regular mowing will put an end to those

I'm just waiting for Japanese Knotweed to show up then I'll have a nap hand..
Can you ever thug out a thug? - would prefer a cultivated invasive than this rubbish.
