    I do too, @Hostafan1... there's no alternative.  Bit of a pain though, because it radically affects what I was planning for my front garden.  I'm trying to see it as an opportunity though, to grow things I haven't tried before.

    However, I'd still vote to eliminate it from my garden.   :)

    Gaultheria shallon. It spreads by underground stems which form a dense interlocking mat. I need to use my trusty pickaxe to break through and hoick it up a piece at a time.
