Can anybody tell me what this is? Lurking in our back porch amongst my citrus plants.

    Looks like a vine weevil to me too 😡

    Lone rangerette, all adult vine weevils are female. https://www.rhs.org.uk/biodiversity/vine-weevil

    The grubs do more damage than the adults. You might want to treat your potted plants with nematodes when it's warm enough where you are.

    Ugh! My feet are constantly poised ready to squash the little b*ggers. 

    I’m not gonna waffle on about grit on top of pots……

    I'm guessing that's an effective deterrent @TheGreenMan?

    Any reason why I keep finding them on the ceiling of the back porch? They seem to be drawn to the smoke alarm, which makes them easy to dispose of ;)
