I went to our local garden centre, close to their closing time so not much time to check roses. Of course I checked them, very quickly and the only thing that impressed me was the fragrance of 'Special Anniversary' HT.
The Ā āSnow Gooseā in my garden is being grown on a southern facing wall so Iām not sure about shade. It repeat flowers very well all summer but I guess the deadheading would be a pain if you canāt reach or shake as I find it looks unsightly if you donāt keep on top of it.Ā
However, itās perfect for a small rambler, easy to keep under control, itās very pretty and needs very little care otherwise. Ā @Marolena has pointed out the link to Blush Noisette, which I was not aware of and find fascinating. Ā I can now see they are actually very similar in growing habit and care needs.Ā
Thank you for confirming that for me, I had a Google yesterday and suspected thatās what it might be. Itās had a flush of new flowers open today so it seems to be doing ok regardless.
Loving all the beautiful rose and garden pics posted. I have had my eye on Buff Beauty and Chandos Beauty for a while so itās good to see more pics of those. New ones for me that I like the look of are Tranquility,Ā Boscobel, The Churchill RoseĀ and Odysseyā¦Some would look nice with my new Lady of Shallot, which has opened her first ever buds today here.Ā
I am so enjoying everyone's pics I had the feeling the thread had gone a bit quieter, perhaps all too overloaded with roses that it was too difficult to choose which.
In that spirit here are 2 that are just starting a good flush if the buds cope with the heat
Faustinia and OdysseyWollerton looks great right now, it's been so dry the blooms are without blemish
Lovely photos, had something like 700 new posts since I was last able to check. Very hectic at the moment, I havenāt had any time in the garden for a few weeks. Putting in a lot of extra work hours. But had a couple of hours free this afternoon, lovely opportunity to have a look around and tidy up a bit. Two more weeks of insanity and then I can flop.
@celcius_kkw - your MW looks great. Mineās still acting like a first year rose, but Iāve got some nice blooms on it at the moment. Itās definitely ignoring the āfirst year sleep, second year creep, third year leapā rule. Just in perpetual sleep.

Royal Jubilee
Scarborough Fair with the other two roses above and Astrantia looking good.
Lady Emma Hamilton
Clematis āEtoile Violetteā filling in while Malvern Hills has a break.
