My lawn grass is damaged and I want to install artificial grass for my lawn. That what I am saying

That was what was confusing me arslan, you said beautiful and not 'damaged'.

Ok, thank you, I'm no longer confused. Others have come up with some good ideas. I think you also need to consider how much you are willing to pay, better quality is more expensive of course. If you would rather keep your grass then advice could be given on how to achieve a nice lawn from members on here but a photograph and more info would help.

You aren't really offering any proper info I'm afraid.
Damaged in what way? It could affect anything else you try to do  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Indeed @Dave Humby. Sometimes with a topic such as this, l think it's easier,  but l take your point  :)
  • You're asking a DIY question on a gardening forum. I'll hazard a guess you'll not find too many here who will be enthusiastic about plastic grass.

Good quality artificial turf isn't cheap, and all artificial turf really needs to be professionally laid to get best results.  How large is the area you need to do?

You're asking a DIY question on a gardening forum.

You could say the same about any form of hard landscaping, fencing etc.  Artificial grass is still going into a garden so, to me at least, it's not unreasonable to ask such questions here.  There can be totally valid reasons for wanting/needing artificial grass.

Have a look at the websites of artificial lawn specialists. Most people on here prefer real grass, or no grass at all if the conditions are what's making real grass unhappy, so I expect we don't have a vast amount of collective experience with the artificial sort.
An ex-colleague of mine had an artificial lawn done some years ago and even though he was a keen and experienced DIY-er, he decided that this was one job that it was worth getting done by an expert. He then spent about as much time looking after it as a real one would have taken - sweeping, hosing down, etc. If you decide to go the DIY route, there's information on various websites for example https://www.lazylawn.co.uk/diy/how-to-fit-artificial-grass/. I hope that helps you.

Personally I think there should be a ban on plastic grass.  Deliberately introducing plastic into the landscape is really ecologically unsound.  People are carrying on as if there is no ecological crisis.
