Oh it wont all be yellow. 😂

I’ll be putting some tall white ones in and some ground-cover in other colours. @Fairygirl

    I've made my choices.

It's gonna be yellow and white (with bits of red) and lots of green (from the ferns):

    Euphorbia Amygdaloides
    Euphorbia Amyg Purpurea
    Euphorbia griffithii Fireglow
    Miscanthus sinensis Red Cloud
    Coreopsis Moonbeam
    Rudbeckia Goldstrum
    Crocosmia George Davison
    Alchemilla erythropoda
    Selinum wallichianum
    Campanula persicifolia alba
    Ferns, ferns, ferns......

Selinum wallichianum is an entirely gorgeous plant, but likes moist soil. It will thank you for loads of organic matter, I should think, if your plot is currently clay. I didn't know that coreopsis Moonbeam or crocosmia was ok with partial shade. If so I might give them a go.

Yes I was surprised too @Fire .  Often you'll see "partial shade" on one site and then "full sun" on the rest but, for these two, it was pretty much full sun/partial shade across the board.

@TheGreenMan A plant that works well with ferns is Asaram Europaeum. To bring the scheme together you could use Anemone nemorosa a plant that is here and gone far too quickly for me.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

They are both lovely.  I think I'll see what the ones I've bought will look like before adding in any others.

Suggestions still welcome as I'm compiling a list of the ones I like. :)
