Yellow welsh poppies. Love dry shade.  I leave them where they pop up to provide spring colour in shady areas.

I'd give fennel a go. It won't mind a wee bit of shade.
Wild rocket would be perfectly happy. Great for pollinators and very tough, not like the usual one.
I grow Ligularia  Britt-Marie Crawford which would also be fine [as per the other one mentioned] but the flowers are more gold than yellow. I love it, but the slugs do as well unfortunately, as the foliage is very striking.
I have a small plant spare if you want to try it.  :)
Ooooh yeah I like the look of that one thank you.  The foliage is very heuchera like.

I can recommend Argyranthemum 'Jamaica Primrose'.  It has feathery leaves, grows quite tall and has lovely soft buttery yellow flowers.  I think it would do well in your situation.  It will last until the first frosts but cuttings take really easily.
That’s very nice. I have something similar in the front but can’t remember its name….

If you can stomach some white, then Thalicthrum Splendide would be my top recommendation. There is a yellow Thal which you could risk. I understand it likes a lot of sun.

Adding in organic material will make them happy.

That’s very pretty. I might throw a few white flowers in there too.

Splendide is one of my very fav plants. I'm really, really hoping the ones planted in the gardens beds will return this year.

Take a look at LD Desdemona too. Similar plant appearance and flower but foliage is olive above with maroon below, also very striking
Just another day at the plant...

Hemerocallis, if no one's suggested them. Lilies too.
You might find so much yellow a bit overwhelming if there aren't enough alternatives to balance it.  ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
