Weed ID please

This smothers a shady section of my East facing border. It doesn't flower. The leaves start off fairly small, a bit like lambs lettuce, but do grow if left undisturbed.

    I wonder if it is a weed. The leaves look young and fresh as if they have recently appeared. You say no flowers, this is a puzzle as flowers will set seed?
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    @Fairygirl thanks just noticed. Still waiting for a light bulb moment on this one think it is Forget me not seedlings but there is also a weed in my mind that I just cannot think of.

    It's definitely not forget me not. I have quite a few and the leaves are not quite the same. This 'weed' isn't a new addition to the border. I've been doing battle with it for a few years. I've never seen it flower, even though I spend most of my time in the garden from spring to autumn, and it's a small garden!
