  • Strong winds , rain, rain and yet more rain........... my house has been surrounded by scaffolding for a couple of weeks ( some of which is an excruciating Barbie pink ) in readiness for a complete new roof job.  It cuts out the light and squishes the garden and I'm having to learn to Pole Dance too.

Have you considered selling tickets to help pay for the new roof?

I have a variety of insects attacking my mature plants . I'm a bit/a lot wary of venturing out and looking too closely in case I find some more. There's only so many planting opportunities that I can deal with at the moment 😕

The thing that stops me from doing pole dancing is the lack of ballroom. I don't think gentlemen are equipped for it. :#

@wild edges you just need a mankin with an extra pad.

Some plants are just plain stubborn.😒
I have a young jade plant that I have pinched out several times. Instead of sprouting further down, it sprouts from exactly where I pinched it and tries to continue on its vertical journey but I'm going to win the battle!

As the poor owner says, how would we like it if plebs people were trespassing in our 180 acre private estates and taking photos outside our stately mansions? It must be a real strain on him to order his staff to deal with them. :'(

Must be hell at school drop off and  pick up times with stressed parents parking across the driveway … it was certainly chaos here this morning. I know exactly how he must feel … NOT!!!
