Yes, several, but I think they must be scraping the bottom of the barrel somewhat. Apparently you must serve even if you have mental health problems (including anxiety or depression) as long as you're not actually sectioned. And you have to be severely ill or disabled according to the website.

I'll send the form back and see if they will accept my reasons.

The road was OK when we went out,  but,  huge queue when we came back but we were going the opposite way then, thankfully.

Already thought of that one @Allotment Boy but it only postpones the problem.

My mum plead fatigue due to MS. She said after a couple of hours she would be too tired to remember details, unable to concentrate and unaware of evidence being given. What I think actually got her dismissed was needing a carer with her (in case of fits) all the time.

Something is feasting on the ivy down the end of the garden. I don't mind. There's more than enough for everyone.
    isn't that a RTBC?

@Hostafan1. It depends. My glass is half empty . What if whatever chances upon something more toothsome than ivy? Do slugs, snails and grubs have teeth🤔
Something's been eating the celandine leaves flat to the ground and leaving the flower buds.  There's strange goings on down the far end.

    In today’s Guardian.

    Marvellous. Just marvellous.

It was nice and sunny all afternoon but as soon as I went out for a walk with the dog it started to snow. I hadn't even bothered to wear a coat as it looked so nice out.
I had to change three bulbs on the car today. Normally this would be exactly the kind of thing this thread was invented for but it was actually a very simple job on my boring no-frills car. No skinned knuckles, no removing half the engine to get at anything, no complicated clips, just remove bulb and insert new one. My only grump is that the bulbs were all dual purpose ones where half of the function was still working fine but had to be replaced anyway.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I got out of jury service because it clashed with my wedding... and when they recalled me, I was about to give birth.  They gave up after that.   :)

Just when you think they've given up, you get the letter. You're probably safe enough in Ireland😉

They've waited nearly 44 years, @B3 so I think they've forgotten I exist... and as you say, I'm probably safe here...
