Iâm certain that the people quoting the whole lot do know,  they seem to know everything else, itâs easier to delete chunks on an iPad than a computer/laptop. Anyway,  itâs the curmudgeonly thread and that my bit for today. I doubt the rude person will stay in the site for long anyway.Â

I know how to use just the part of the post that I'm referring to in my qouted reply but how do I delete a photograph please? Not sure that I've ever needed to but there's always a first time and I like to know these things. I'm going to have to have a dummy run.
Pansyface ,to have close contact with someone who has been visiting several countries, is to me to say the least ,foolish. You have to deal with any consequences of their thoughtless travels .If you have chronic health issues you have to look after yourself .It will be you sitting at home wishing you had not clapped eyes on them if you catch Covid or any other virus that is doing the rounds. My OH has several serious health issues and I am asthmatic .We avoid company . We rarely go out . These are choices we have made .To be honest we donât care what others think .We have a lovely garden .Both of us are avid readers .We are contented and we would like to live a bit longer .Do what you believe is necessary to protect yourself . PS please excuse any grammar or punctuation errors .I am dyslexic.
@Uff.   Find something to quote that has photos, click  in quote ,  click your curser on the right hand side of the photo and back space.  Thatâs what I do on an iPad. Cant remember now on laptop. If you give it a trial run the click preview youâll see what you would post,  if you then click on âSave draftâ you can delete it from there.Â

In normal conversations we don't have to repeat what the other person just said before we reply. We just make sure they're listening which is where the forum @nameof poster comes in instead of wasting time and resources on unnecessary quotes.
@pansyface TBH I can't understand anyone voluntarily getting on an airplane at the mo - all that recycled air and germs not to mention queuing for all the security and baggage checks and the rest.  If your OH often does the "not discussing it" ploy that gives you scope for lots of "executive decisions". Â
Thanks for the tick-repelling suggestions, @steephill and @Obelixx. Not sure if you are supposed to use Frontline on humans though it's a bit tempting... the spray you use, Steephill, isn't available over here but there may be other ones containing Permethrin. Treating clothes seems very sensible.
And thanks for the reminders about Lyme's disease, @B3 and @Fairygirl. Ok so far...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Why would anyone put a systemic insecticide in their own or a pet's body when they wouldn't put it in a plant in case it kills a bee? I'm pretty sure that a much-loved dog was killed by those anti- flea drops .

Thanks Lyn. Poor Roddersuk had his cordyline faffed about with but only temporarily. It worked.Â
