  • Bencotto, I can't think of anything polite,to say about that!! How wonderful to have such principles 🤢. My curmudgeon,on the 22nd I ordered some baby yarn online, paid with PayPal,a shade called violet,to make a blanket for latest grandaughter violet,3 weeks old. This was Hobbycraft,it said they would email me when it was in-store. Been patiently checking emails and junk of course, just re-read, said it would normally be "in-store", in an hour!!!!! I've received nothing, the only way to "get in touch" is flaming email,I wanted it ready by now. Shall pop into the shop today.

It's amazing how we can take really clear photos of the surface of the moon but cctv still can't manage more than about 3 pixels for someone's face.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I've wondered about that @wild edges and given how good evn veryy ordinary mobile phone cameras are now you have to wonder why CCTV lenses are so poor.

It's the memory capacity needed to store the images rather than the resolution of the cameras. Most CCTV systems record about a week at a time. At 10mp, that's quite a lot of data to store

I also think that better " facial recognition " capacity might lead to calls of Big Brother

We've just return from 2 weeks in Crete.  I looked out the window and thought the grass really need cutting, there was almost none when we went away.  Looked out again half anr hour later and it's pouring with rain!
