I've just read news stories about gas wholesale prices dropping by over 20%.  I look forward to the cap being reduced accordingly.

We have had no land line connection for 24 hours, and possibly for up to three weeks more. The bloody crims have stolen the copper cabling from the inspection pit/box.

Luckily mobile telecommunications means it’s far less of an annoyance than it used to be but, for me to receive a mobile phone call, the stars have to be aligned: charged, found, heard.

That's bad news @pansyface and @BenCotto, commiserations to you both.

I was p....d off this morning when I found a yobbo had thrown a large empty plastic bottle over a very high metal fence where nobody can pick it up. I'd already done some litter picking up before that.

We had rain forecast for this weekend but there was none at all yesterday and only 5 minutes drizzle so far today. And my biopsy wound is itching and making me grumpy.

I'm watching the Tour or Britain cycle race, and it's absolutely persisting down in Scotland.  At least it is in the part of Scotland they are racing in.
