A lot of this comes from the current love for "hacks" and feeling that we are making some magical saving on a superfluous product. Of course most of the time it's just attention seeking on tiktok and such 🤣 specialist products exist for a reason and cost money as they solve real problems. Nobody forces us to spend it and also a lot of these patio problems are preventable with regular maintenance. Lots of good products suggested previously, hope they address the issue.
Och - you're just a young thing @Pete.8.... I don't have any patio here. I removed the horrible slabs and re used them for a few paths round the side of the extension and the shed etc. Mind you - I nearly went skiting on my a*se half an hour ago when I went to get something from near the shed. Maybe I need the brush and some soap, along with some elbow grease. Bit wet and shady round there...

It was pricey, but last time it took me 3 days on hands and knees with a scrubbing brush! And my hands and knees are not what they were!
