    I doubt it Balgay.Hill. No ranger worth their salt would use anything like that, they use wire traps and then dispose of greys in a humane way. 
    I thought i had read about greys being poisoned, but obviously not.

    I only know from my experience and working with rangers as a volunteer for 4 years. None of them would dream of poisoning a grey squirrel despite their dislike of them.

    More likely to shoot grey squirrels, perhaps.

    Happily, we don't have greys on the Isle of Wight, just reds.
