Best flowers for scent

  I think nemesia are very pretty, but didn't realise they are scented.
  Some really good suggestions here, thank you all

  In winter Sarcococca, Wintersweet, Mahonia, Viburnum bodnantense.  In summer Sweet Peas, Paeonies (some, eg Duchesse de Nemours), stocks, Sweet William, lilies, Phlox and best of all Sweet Rocket, which is really easy to grow from seed.
