I am the window cleaner here, inside and out, but as they all open inwards that's OK.  I do them when they're dirty enough to need it and that depends on the weather and how much rain we've had.   Certainly not every two weeks or even once a month.   No industrial or traffic muck here tho.

What size castle are you in? A tenner for a 3 bed house round here.
Same here ... he has a van with a de-ionised water tank and long pole system ... does a brilliant job, comes once every couple of months ... three bedroom detached house with lots of large windows, glass doors and a studio with a solid glass sliding wall £10.00  :)

A house of that size would certainly be much dearer @BenCotto :)
Do you mean ten quid every two months, or ten per month @Dovefromabove?
Ten per month here - the long pole system 3 bed house .
I don't really like it though, but the conventional window cleaner stopped doing it. I see them all the time with those hoses draped very badly across pavements. I'm glad I'm not elderly or need to use a wheelchair etc.  :/

£10 every couple of months @Fairygirl ... He's really careful about not obstructing the pavement (not that there are many passers by here other than when the school is turning in and out ... we're on a cul de sac which is off a cul de sac which is off a cul de sac ...  apparently we have a very low crime rate 'cos burglars can't find their way out of this part of the village cos the street lights are switched off at night and they go round and round in circles 😂

That's very good value then @Dovefromabove. Loads of people use them, and even when I'm walking in other areas, I see the same problem with the hoses.
I would still try and do mine myself [even the awkward ones ] but after the problem with my shoulder, I decided to get someone in. Holding anything for any length of time at that angle is hopeless, even light stuff.

A big house! I wish, @Fairygirl, it’s a very modest sized cottage but with a bigger than average garden.

I suppose the windows are trickier to wash than a bog standard, more modern house though @BenCotto ;)

It's called inflation @B3.  His fuel costs for getting to jobs have gone up, as have his home heating bills - just like you.  He can't work at a loss can he?
