I love ireland. I was there a couple weeks ago got to tour the gardens at powercourt! It was actually a bit chilly. It was also right before texas turned into an inferno. I had the best steak in dublin at tomahawk! Cooked over wood fire
@VictorMeldrew I love the shots from the windows, very artistic, nice green grass as AnniD says😊
Thankyou @AnniD & @Valley Gardener. I think the grass is probably green because I haven't mowed it for several weeks as it's currently full of flowering clover that the bees are loving. Also we've not been as dry as many other areas and being on clay we tend to retain a lot of moisture.
Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border. I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful
A view from my kitchen window onto my raised bed for cut flowers although, as I said in a previous post, I can’t bear to cut them 🙈 and 2 photos from my pond, one taken at the end of September when I was building it and one from last week, what a difference in such a short time!
Thank you @Fran IOM and @Valley Gardener and @Fire yes what you’ve said about early dead heading has given me a valid and good reason to cut some 😁 I’m off to do it now!
