This is Lunaria annua 'Somerset Marble' bought last year from a specialist nurseryman. The leaves are dark and marbled and the flowers are looking lovely in the sunshine. What I didn't realise it would do is want to spread - that long shoot to the left will need pegging down somewhere. Or I may try rooting it and then severing it from the mother plant.

This is my 'white' bed, every year I say I will put more bulbs in....never quite get around to it.

The blues and yellows in this little edging border have made me think of Ukrania each time I pass the gate. It's nearly over now, if only the war was.
