Sadly, generally speaking the bulbs sold like that are dead. Galanthus absolutely hate drying out and bulbs in packets like that have been out of the ground and drying for months.
Sorry. Hope you are lucky.
Yup, they came up blind. Has this happened to anyone else before?
Considering you planted dry bulbs, I think that's quite good. Have you got quite a few showing? They'll take a bit of time, but you should get flowers on those, even if it's not until next year. Just bear in mind that you'll need to mow round them, to let them die back naturally.

I dug up some nivalis which were just shooting back in November. I replanted under a tree near where I live just checked today and they are blind too. I think they were planted at the right depth, just did not like being disturbed.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

Hi yes I got a few, someone earlier in here said they only got about 50% success rate. I can confirm the same for me too! There was only 25 in that pack so it’ll look sparse. I think it was because they were left In the shop and then at home too for too long. Inexperience.
Although these ones below, I planted a different pack round at the front garden too and they bloomed way, way earlier, like weeks before these blind ones. All ten of them as well. But they were receiving more hours of sunlight there.
It’s a bare patch because my mum used to put the bins there. So I thought why not make use of it and plant flowers there instead and move the bins somewhere else!
It's not the sun that's helped [snowdrops are woodland plants] it's just that they'll have been more viable Not all snowdrops flower at the same time either.
Hopefully you'll get flowers on those other ones at some point. You could always get some 'in the green' just now, or over the next month or two, to build up your stock.

^ thanks 🙏. I’ve bookmarked that euro bulb link mentioned here. That looks really good. I’ve never planted “in the green” method before. I’d like to give it a go though. It seems a lot more reliable.
I planted about 140 snowdrop bulbs in the autumn. At the moment I have 2 or 3 batches showing but no flowers at all..... looks like I’ll be buying in the green next winter ! in my last garden I planted bulbs and they went well ... never did anything to them but they came up and flowered every year.

Not too late to order from Eurobulbs.
https://eurobulbs.co.uk/category/galanthus-snowdrops/ Normally they deliverer very quickly. They may be a bit lax , they will have flowers (wilted probably) But after watering the leaves will soon perk up again Plant immediately...I recommend planting in groups of 5...7 or 9. Doesn't take very long to pop them in.
I often think it's down to the soil too @muckyhandsmike. There might be bulbs which are borderline 'drying out', and if the ground's nice and moist, it's enough to make the difference, and tip them into growth before it's too late.

When we moved into our home the garden was very "non known". It was great to see the snow drops coming up in the spring. Since then we have so many clusters all around our garden and so many different types (no idea what they are).
We didn't plant/sow them they have just continued to spread and I do mean spread...as they are in so many different parts of our garden which is not small.
