  • Beleive it or not GC no.1 closed until sat 08/01 and GC no.2 closed until 17/01 yes really( both established family run so deserve a break) So called yesterday at bigger GC here in Usk low and behold sold out of paraffin for greenhouse but did find roll of fleece to cover small pots we keep outside through the Winter. Our  Greenhouse is where all our Tender pots are asleep at the mo. Snowdrops are smiling here they do  cheer you up.

    It makes sense for the smaller ones to close for a few weeks at this time of year. I suppose in the olden days, pre covid, it gave them a chance to have a holiday.
