  • @Perki, these are the rudbeckia seeds I have https://www.premierseedsdirect.com/product/rudbeckia-hirta-black-eyed-susan/

The pumpkins are supposed to be tasty, but unfortunately I was too slow off the mark last year and they didn't get a chance to ripen, so I don't have any personal experience to report there. I grew them to use firstly as fall decor and then to eat. I did manage to get the first use out of them, if not the second. For reference, I think the one on the mirror here was fully grown in terms of size, but not ripe.

Reminds me of when my mum used to grow gourds and dry them out,  there was always weird shaped green/yellow things about,  every mantelpiece and shelf had some.

@philippasmith2. I could share the packet that @fire sent to me.  There’s 20 so could halve it.
    PM for you @Lyn

@Fire Thanks for the seeds. Your handmade card is lovely. It now has the pride of place on our mantelpiece. :)

Glad to know! Think they all belong to the Echeveria family but unfortunately I don't know the exact names of them. Got one from a friend's wedding table arrangements years ago and others from plant swaps...
