I’m not sure that’s true @Fire, But it’s certainly a quick money spinner when it’s caught in confinement. My son in law used to catch off the Cornish coast but he doesn’t get the time now. Even fish coughs in the wild is probably contaminated by plastics. What can we eat that is truly eco friendly and healthy?

No guarantees any more are there. i reckon pasture fed beef, lamb and pork, free range poultry and home grown fruit and veg are the best bet as long as they are chemical free. For fruit and veg I can't grow myself I buy organic or local as much as possible to keep food miles down.

In my opinion farmed meat (or wild) is way superior. The quota system is a joke and just ensures that fishermen and their friends get to eat a lot of free fish that cannot legally be landed, sold or even thrown back. (because it's killed while being brought onboard)
@Plantminded 😊. I don’t buy from them as I buy from local fishermen when I visit our nearby coast, but I know folk who live elsewhere who buy from them and are very happy with the fish and the service. I’m signed up for the regular emails as I live to see what fish have been caught that day and from where, and by which boats, and to get the news from the southwest fishing fleet. It’s one of the highlights of my evenings. 😄
