It needs to be pruned as per @Palustris's earlier post  :)
I'd remove the cow and the string too  ;)

You'll probably need to refresh the soil as well - and it does need to be in a soil based medium, not just compost if that's what it's in. There won't be enough nutrition in there for it to thrive, especially if it's staying potted. Some slow release food added at that point will help too.  :)
Thank you. I've been out today got some new soil and some slow release food, just gonna wait till the weather is a bit kinder to us.  :)

I'm interested to know if you are pleased with the plant's appearance over the summer and length of flowering as I ordered one last week to fill a gap in one of my borders!  Also what predominant flower colour do you get @fionab82?

There was a house near us at the last house, which had a huge bank of them along the boundary at the road @Plantminded .  They always looked fantastic when they were in flower. I always mean to take a photo when I'm down that way at the nursery. Must try harder  ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Thank you @fairygirl, that's really kind of you to let me know.  Hoping for some extra interest in a rather dull border this year😊!
