    An interesting question.

The water isn’t hot, only luke warm, and it’s only heated to order. The heater comes on when you plonk your bahookie on the seat. And it doesn't use a lot of water. No idea how much but probably about a couple of cupsful at most.

No paper is needed so there must be a few trees saved or recycled paper not needing to be created.

    No idea really.

and no paper flushed into the sewers either

Not so long ago, it was all about saving trees and using less paper. You never hear that now. Wooden this and paper that

More like coming down to earth than levelling up.  I was enjoying the toilets with extra features so very much.   Glorious where these threads can go.

There used to be a belief amongst cap doffers and forelock tuggers that if you elected a toff, you could trust them with our money because they were rich enough to not need to dip into the public purse. Yeh. Right.

Not much difference in any party,  not worth getting curmudgeonly over any of them.
