Has politics gone down the toilet? @Songbird-1 if you don't like the way the thread is going, steer it in another direction. What shall we moan about? You decide😊
@Dovefromabove i think you are right. I'm hoping this is why a pair of blackbirds were hopping about pecking at the soil in my pots yesterday. although i'll settle for them pulling out weeds that seem to have germinated over the last 48 hours!
The water isn’t hot, only luke warm, and it’s only heated to order. The heater comes on when you plonk your bahookie on the seat. And it doesn't use a lot of water. No idea how much but probably about a couple of cupsful at most.
No paper is needed so there must be a few trees saved or recycled paper not needing to be created.
No idea really.
I had this sudden vision of the reaction of the user if the heater failed, particularly on a cold winters day.
I grew the wrong kind of Chinese cabbage last year. The leaves were covered in prickly hairs. The slugs weren't interested and neither was I. Apparently, the hairs go or soften if you cook the leaves. I never bothered to find out. Straight on the compost heap.
What is Aunty Beeb up to? Tonight BBC1 Attenborough and the Mammoth graveyard. BBC 2, Only connect, champions of champions, BBC 4 JVT last of three RI lectures. ALL @ 8pm we can record one and watch one, BBC don't do plus 1 channels, we can only hope for a repeat at some point.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Sounds like something from Wallace and Gromit!

Tree rats were certainly courting yesterday.
I've seen evidence of slugs but none of the beasts so I assume it's the little ones.
I tend to find slugs in the outer layers of our Savoy cabbages but now I just tear those off and hand them to the chooks who enjoy both.
