  • Afraid the Disney version is regarded as an abomination in this household.  That is not the real Winnie the Pooh !!! 😲
No, real Winnie the Pooh is Willie Rushton reading it on Jackanory
    Absolutely 👍 😍

@fidgetbones. Spent an hour with Dr Google. Most levels seem within normal parameters. The usual lifestyle changes would be beneficial😐
I'll give it a go again to see if a professional can confirm  . It's quite frightening to think what would happen if I had a serious health problem and of some concern that a potentially serious problem is likely  to be missed.
I recently advised my mum that it is unwise to become unwell at this time. I think I will try to take my own advice.

An American friend, new to our multi-national mums and toddlers group bought Possum a Bambi video for her 3rd birthday.  I'd avoided them till then but that was when the rot set in.  The following year that same friend bought Possum a Barbie doll.  Even worse!

The boy next door was a couple ofyears older than my daughter. She was given a number of Barbies  and Sindies - not by me. She wasn't interested in dressing them. I'm pretty sure many of them met unpleasant  fates.

The poo sticks bridge and 100 acre wood isn't that far away from us. Half way between here and my children,we used to take the dogs and kids to piglets "beach" at Ashdown Forest
My sons late 30s early ,40s had Winnie the Pooh bedding when they were little

That wasn't a curmudgeon, this is. Went to a coffee shop, bakery with my friend Wednesday. Went to the counter, was told if we were eating/drinking in,we had to sit and it was waitress service. Sat down ordered the coffee, told the waitress I would like cake, she asked what
I couldn't see as far as the counter, not allowed to go there,so asked her to choose. It never arrived.when we went to pay, complained.was asked if I wanted to see the manager, she came over, looked about 10. They weren't busy,I'd just been forgotten. She said ",oh well, next time you come in" assured her there wouldn't be a next time!!

Went there so many times and never once saw Pooh or Eeyore...began to think that someone had made them up.

Nanny Beach, what a shambles of a coffee shop! They should at least given you some free cake to take home! No customer service.

B3, does your practice have e-consult where you can email your enguiry? I’ve had some success with ours, sent off details of problems and got an email back, no later than the next day, or a phone call from the doctor in the same time frame.
Not for everyone, but I actually found it quite good, and quicker than the days of booking and waiting for an appointment.
  • We do the same as @Ergates with our GP practice … an email enquiry on their website followed by a phone call from the GP and then a face to face consultation/examination within a couple of days,  or even on one occasion the same day. Works a treat.

Ergates,I forgot to add,she did let us have the coffee free. When I got home, hubby said "where's my cake"! You're.  right,I missed a trick, should have said I'll have the cake to go. I will probably go back there with hubby. It's so rare to find a bakery where you can buy just one roll for instance
As you folk are aware,I do shop in Lidl, which has a bakery
I make cakes, sometimes you want someone else to do it. 18th is my baby daughter's birthday. She is mad on space, aliens, planets. Making her cake. If you're very good,o will show you a picture
