Mystery shrub leaves are alternate.
On the 1st pic there are tiny leaves stipules..these remind me of willow/Salix

Are the leaves silver underneath?
Need catkins to take id further.

Must say the growth does look a bit 'willowy'

I have trimmed first pic to show the stipules.
Sadly Bay willow...Salix pentandra does not have leaf stipules.

I can't thank you all enough, sorry, had tooth ache and fell asleep. This is my new customer who says it was sold to her as a honeysuckle!!! She has been waiting and I was the first to question it!! Her daughter has a larger garden which is where it is going .. the pot will hold tulips 🌷 😀xx
