    None of the leaves in your original pictures resemble japanese knotweed.
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Many umbellifers have hollow stems too - fennel, angelica etc. Also lupins.  I think if there's only the one it's not very likely to be JKW, but keep an eye on it and see what comes up in the spring.
