What a difference since yesterday. It's chilly, but calm and sunny morning. I need go to town and struggle with some paperwork. I hope that will be well paid off. Workers started early on my neighbor roof. We all hope that they will finish as soon as possible so that she and her house are safe.

Good morning all, very strange virus this, started with a hacking cough and high temperature and now that’s almost gone and it’s a classic cold, usually the other way around for me but whatever. Sent my test off to check it’s not the dreaded COVID and still keeping away from everyone which is boring and frustrating now I feel a little better but has to be done. Fiancé is working away and so far show no sign of illness which is a relief as we are away next week.
Not a lover of fruit cake but fiancé loves it. Especially Bara Brith.
