Good news about your new chair Hazel. That is great service there. Hope you have had a successful trip to town.

  • Ooh you weren't there just now @Ladybird4 glad your arm doesn't ache anymore. Agree rather early for C#*%$/m@$  ads, decs, songs etc
There are a few ads on TV at the moment that get on my nerves.....non festive type. The worst one is for a credit card where the person paying says  oooooooooohh. 🤦🏻‍♀️😫😫

SGL, I know the one you mean and it has the same effect on me. I can feel my canines elongating!

I'm a sofa sitter, too, Hazel.

While OH was in the hospital for his cardiology appointment I went to Marks and Spencers for a shopping spree. The men's jumpers are so much nicer than the women's ones, I bought two, for me. Also a nightdress, some underwear and a pair of jeans. Per Una had flared high waist dark grey jeans like they used to have years ago, I have missed them.

    Evening all,

That advert seems to be based on the thinking that it gets on everyone's wick so much that it gets remembered and then everybody buys the product. Is the product called Ooooooooo? They won't be making any money out of me anyway.

Evening all. When will your OH get his results Busy? Will it be before you have to leave. You sound to have had a good spending spree in M&S - other stores are available I find that their sizings are all crazy these days. I got two pairs of their jeans similar size and leg length. One fitted perfectly the other was too tight around the waist. That pair went back. I have to get extra short length as anything else is too long and finding those is hugely difficult. Anyway, enough of all that. I am going to sign out for tonight too. See you all tomorrow.

I put up the hems when they are too long. I hate low waists, they fall down when I walk.

I go back to France on Thursday  to stay with daughter 1 to help her with the children.

OH has no symptoms, just an abnormal ECG. He has to have a scan.

Daughter 2 has had a bad nervous breakdown. That's why she's in hospital. Her marriage is on the rocks.

  • So sorry to hear about your daughter @Busy-Lizzie sending my very best wishes to you both.

@Songbird-1 I'm a sofa sitter too.  Goodness, you might have to get a magnifying glass for the books Hazel.
Our nearest Marks doesn't stock  Per Una anymore. Like that range, will have to look on line.
