Just walked the dogs, saw these very dark purple asters and other plant, green leaves and these gorgeous purple bracts on the ends, the asters are in fact dark purple, not pink, phone camera has problems with some colours
Unfortunately I can't,my budget extended to this LG phone. The fact it takes pictures was just a nice extra, for me. They were both the most amazing in your face deep purple, really stood out. It was grey and cloudy at that point. The sage was more ground cover, but I wouldn't mind taller
it was you that very kindly posted the Turkestanica to me a few years ago. It did survive the first winter, but not the second I'm afraid. The salvia Back & Blue you also sent is still in full flower Thanks:)

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
I though it was, same with mine then, I didn’t save seeds, I may be able to get some more as someone sent them to me in the first place. Glad the Black and Blue salvia plants are still ok, I’ve just got some more cutting going now. They flower so late I was beginning to think I’d lost the original plants but there they are. They won’t grow from seeds though. Cuttings only.
