Good morning Ruby, SGL and Dove. Will you be getting into your garden today Ruby? My weather sounds similar to SGL's so if yours is like ours I think you'll be spending a fair time outside. Don't go overdoing it though. Yes, SGL, Jack is going with us too. We are going to a steak house nearby. It's the place where my squash team meet up for our lunches so I think I have already decided on my meal. They do a glorious sea bass there. Dove, it sounds like you have a cunning plan

LB I have been in the garden and done quite a lot of cutting back .
  • Afternoon all. ย LB have a lovely lunch with Jack and his daughter, how lovely. ย I visited mum and dad and stayed for lunch. ย Iโ€™ve had a good wash and freshen up but have slept and Iโ€™ve had some fresh air. ย A sunny day today. ย

Afternoon everybody. Not long in from a very relaxed lunch with Jack and his daughter. I asked about that big festive day looming on the horizon and they are already all booked up! I suspected as much. Back to the drawing board! It has been a lovely day RosieBB but it was clouding over as we came out of the restaurant. Its nice to be home, changed into scruff (clean of course ), fed Lily and time for another cuppa.

SGL my pulse rate has gone up. I wonder if he will be bare chested at any stage?

Friend's new kitchen looked fabulous. She's a fairly recent friend who lives quite near and is actually the wife of the English builder who did my garage conversion. He did their kitchen.

I got home in time for a late lunch and didn't get out as early as I thought to plant daffodils. Only about 50 planted today. The ground was pretty heavy so I removed some clay from each hole and replaced it with sand and compost. February Gold, Dutchmaster, Cheerfulness and Ice Follies.
