I was trying to grow some to see if I could get it to grow in my clay soil, as its supposed to like acidic soil, planning to split and pot some up and plant out the rest. It is a plant in danger of becoming rare as only gardens have it now as growers have stopped producing it. It is also a link to the past as in our yard it was the only thing to grow in a brick trough, so is a reminder of my childhood.
Thankyou for the offer @Fairygirl , this was some from Scotland sent by a friend who has offered me some more, looks like I might have to take her up on the offer. 🙂
