  If a charity tried to manipulate my emotions with camera tricks , I would certainly be less inclined to trust them with my money. It's a lot easier to turn away from alien eyes.

  Whether by pics or wording, surely all charities manipulate emotions to a certain extent ?  Some are more obvious than others admittedly but that is the name of the game.
  Not much different from politics really.

  I had said no.

  Then yesterday I watched a tiger moth trapped in a web and hesitated.
  

  I didn't do anything for some time and continued to watch it.

  The moth was flapping like mad and then....away it went.

  So still no!
