I just had a look and it was @Topbird who answered the question and it was at Peter Beales Roses - (last post on the page)

Mine are by Top Garden and have shapely handles and a catch.  I actually keep them in the kitchen for when I'm spatchcocking chicken as my IKEA poultry shears are hopeless and I have 3 pairs of Felcos and a small pair of Wolf secateurs which do me well for snipping.

As per my original posting highlighted by @Pete.8 I have been using the same pair of  ARS snips for about 8 years now. They really suit my smaller hands and sharpen up very quickly and easily. Have hardly used my regular secateurs since.

Best £10 ever spent. Have bought a couple of pairs as X**s presents. Wasn't met with  unbounded gratitude initially - but both pairs are now used day in day out by the recipients.

I can recommend the ones that Pete.8 has mentioned, they stay sharp for a long time between sharpening.

I love telling people about my ARS snips @Fairygirl - it always makes them do a double take😁

    It's usually after you've sat on something you shouldn't @Topbird :D
