Snips

Hi - I was given a pair of Fiskars snips and on the first day of use, the blade snapped off while I was cutting sweet peas!  So, can anyone please recommend a great pair of snips?  Thanks :)

    I've got Draper ones. Very inexpensive and I've had them for years. I bought a 2nd pair last year so that I can keep a pair in the kitchen in case I want to nip out to get some flowers or herbs etc.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Thank you :)  Is that their dark green straight pruning secateur?

    The first ones I got were dark green. I don't think they were described as secateurs though, just snips. Quite simple  - not as fancy as the ones in those pix above  :)

    Yes - those look similar to mine, although mine don't have such shapely handles, or the little catch   :)

    These snips were recommended by a forum member some years ago who visited one of the RHS gardens and asked the gardeners which snips they use.
