I came across this the other day … designed to keep cats in, I have no idea if it works to keep them out as well, but worth investigating maybe?

    it looks expensive tho.

the trouble is that the overwhelming majority of cat owners are so selfish and indifferent to the trouble their cats cause, they don't give a flying fart about the problem, let alone try to be part of any solution.

...and had a vague idea that something simple like a thin wire strung between the fenceposts on top of the fence might just dissuade/confuse them a bit.
Nope - I can definitely say that doesn't work   :)

This might be a good solution - cheaper than the rolling fence pole and unobtrusive.

I had read an article by a water content saying it was illegal to flush animal waste down the toilet. Anglian water say the treatment is unsuitable for animal waste, because of the bacteria which wouldn't be destroyed and high nitrate content. I have a small plastic dustbin, I use the charity bags, scented nappy sacks, tied up immediately, there is no smell and then in the general waste.
