  • There are many different willowherb varieties. The 2 main ones that attract lots of pollinators are rosebay and hairy willow herb. I suspect you have the hoary or parviflorum variety? Any chance of of picture?

Have them and they can't be eradicated. But they are very easy to pull. If all weeds were like them, gardening would be easy. All my other weeds are worse.

There are very few plants that I would like to eradicate. I really don't mind hand  weeding. When you need a fork, that's another matter. But then, fork weeds are usually my own fault for letting them mature.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

One upside to willowherb weeds is that their fruit make nice photos. ;)

We usually have a few willowherb weeds in the garden and it's easy to pull out, this year has been terrible for it and I'm pulling out a large trug full every week. We get the very tall variety and a much smaller type.

Lovely @Papi Jo - as long as they aren't doing it in the garden  ;)
We mainly have rosebay w.h round here, but the greater w.h is certainly around the area in various spots too.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Sorry to have advised “ against the law” by saying to pull up wild growing plants .
