Lettuce identifacation

Hi, I want to know the name of this lettuce I have growing. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I bought a tray from the garden centre, half were red half were green. The reds all look the same but the greens as you can see are different degrees of curly. I think they are an iceberg type.

I think that's one of the Lolla Bionda types, although there are quite a few that look similar Much the same as Lolla Rossa apart from the colour. Iceberg is quite smooth.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Here are the reds, I was thinking they might be red velvet.
  • I don't think they are Iceberg but there are so many varieties on the market now that it is difficult to tell.
Red and green ?  They could be a form of Lollo Rosso perhaps ?

Thanks, I've grown Lolla rossa, The reds aren't that I'm pretty sure. Only one or two of the greens have gone curly, I'm looking for a variety like in the first picture, Its thick and crunchy like an iceberg. Thanks again

Yea, I google imaged searched Lolla Bionda, I think they might go more curly as they mature so it could be that. Thank you

    Indeed !
Lolla Rossa tends to be green but with redder edging, rather than all red.
I had a look at the seeds I've got because I had a green one very similar to the one in your pic @a@adamc108eL0Fvdk4, but I must have used the last of them, and I can't remember what variety it was.
I have L. Rossa again this year, which is a good cropper,  and I'm also growing a red variety called Deronda, which is a smooth leaved red one. They can also look nice if you want to grow them in among other plants.  :)
