What garden plant gift to buy a non-gardener?

I want to thank our neighbour for letting us cut back most of their shrub that was blocking out sunlight in our garden. They were reluctant at first but then kindly agreed!
Although, they have little or no interest in gardening and have 2 kids and a dog, I would like to get them a plant or something that would look good in their garden that needs little or no maintenance.
Need some more ideas, grateful for any help please!

A bird bath or one of those little solar powered fountains
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Tricky if they're not gardeners though!
How about a bird bath or sundial, or something of that sort?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

They might prefer a bottle of wine as a thank-you :)
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Thank you, I would love that but don't think bird bath or sundial is their sort of thing. They had a garden ornament thing that looks a wreck now, lol!

They have a patio where they like to sit outside with a flowerbed next to it.  I have thought maybe an attractive evergreen that will not grow more than about 4 foot fence height. But cannot think of what type of shrubs!

Thank you.  They are not really wine drinkers...prefer beer, lager .

Bird baths etc need cleaning. Maybe an erigeron to plant in the ground? It still needs watering but v low effort. Plant in sun

I’d go with the beer / chocolate options myself. Even though I am more of a gardener than some, I’ve found it less than fun when I’ve been given plants.  Having to decide where to put it, double checking what conditions it likes, and then finding I don’t have any compost left, has often meant it spends more time languishing in its pot than is good for it.
