    It is not a weed. It is quite rare to find it growing in the wild. In the UK. It is a beneficial and medicinal plant. But unless you are trained I wouldn’t recommend it.

    Not sure what ‘rare to find it growing in the wild’ means regarding Datura stramonium in the UK.
    It’s not a UK native. 
     It appears most years in my sunny veg patch. There are several seedlings growing strongly there this year. I’ve never sown it … we’ve been here 10 years and before we came the area was lawn for at least 40 years and before that it was an orchard. 
    Is that ‘growing in the wild’? 🤔
