Datura

Can anybody help me with when to harvest datura seedpods?
can I pick them now when they are still green. Or do I have to wait till they mature on the plant.

I would wait until they are mature. Bear in mind that datura and its seeds are very poisonous.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

You must have enough toxins in your garden by now to kill half the country 😁

Thank you. That information is really good. I think I will leave them to mature on the plant. Once again. Thanks alot.

I know it’s poisonous but I have grown it for along time. Growing the nightshades is what I am really good at. I try to grow a different nightshade every year. I will always grow datura and the others.🗿
    they amaze me.
