    It looks very like my oregano which is about to burst into flower.

    That photo looks like marjoram. Hard to tell from a photo how big the leaves are. Marjoram and oregano are closely related. 
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
