  • Your Helenium flowers earlier than my ones, Plantminded.
    Also my Hollyhocks just start developing flowerheads.
    That courgette is a male @bertrand-mabel. I was lucky to have a marrow male and female flower directly next to it, but had no time to grab the camera.

    @rowlandscastle444 I have just been looking at your photo of Hedge Columbine. It is one of my favourite flowers a pure white and such a beautiful shape. I took a photo of one years ago for a photo comp at my local Garden Club and it won. More by luck than judgement as most will know who see my photos on here. Such a shame it strangles everything! I agree this thread does make you open your eyes.
    @Slum A stunning photograph the simplicity of the daisy makes it special.


    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    I've got others that haven't flowered yet @Simone_in_Wiltshire.  The one in the photo is H. Sahin's Early Flowerer so it gets a head start!
