I thought the right couple went out , I’m sure his back was a problem which is a shame

I agree @GWRS ... he held his back quite stiffly ... it looked to me as if he was worried about exacerbating a problem.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

I agree with what you said about Rose @Obelixx. I like Giovanni a lot, but he comes across as a little full of himself sometimes. It’s refreshing to see a young woman not going gooey eyed over him, and pushing back a bit.
Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.

With Judi being absent I thought that a better dancer might get the chop this week but what with the difficulty of the Rumba and the bad back I thought that it worked out about right it would have been a shame if Rhys had gone out. I don't want to pre-empt Judi's next dance but it should be a straightforward bye for the others next week, sorry Judi!
  • I think you could be right @barry island  unless one couple forget the dance steps and end up sitting on the floor!  That happened once if I remember rightly?

That's right @Valley Gardener, it was when Flavia was dancing with Matt di Angelo (a waltz l think).
He forgot the steps towards the end so waltzed off by himself to sit on the stairs while she danced alone.
Just looked it up and it was back in 2007 😲.
  • @AnniD. I think thats the only way Judi would get through, sad to say. I remember feeling all hot and embarrassed for that Matt di Angelo,it was just so cringey.

I have heard that Dan Walker and Nadyia are dancing dressed as lobsters this week. I have been wracking my brain trying to think of a connection between lobsters and Halloween, but l just can't see it.
I do remember Scott Mills dressed as a crab some years back. That was... different.

I've just googled it the Halloween Lobster is actually a real thing and not spooky at all, if Dan daces the jive in a lobster costume Judi might yet be safe, kicks and flicks Dan kicks and flicks!

I hope they're good lobster costumes as there is definitely a trend of poor costumes leading to poor voting numbers.
