    That’s why I’m sowing it in the front lawn … it’s the back garden where I tend to garden with nothing on … my feet 😉

    Lucky you! I, like Dove, will be sowing clover into my grass next year.  And possibly birds foot trefoil as well.
    Gardening in East Suffolk on dry sandy soil.

    I’ve recently spotted some in my lawn. So happy. The mother in law wanted me to get rid of it and the daisies. Luckily it’s mine so they’re staying!

    I'm struggling with birds foot trefoil.  I wanted some to remind me of the patches there used to be in the field edges where I walked the dog when I was young.  The packet of seed I got yielded a few plants. I planted them in a border. With no rabbits round here, they grew to 3 ft high.  I am going to try again with some wild gathered seed, and then put plugs in the lawn, with instructions for himself to mow it on high only.
