Grass weed?

Hello, would appreciate if I could get some advice on what this is growing on my lawn and how I can get rid of it? They grew last year and it took me a long time to pull them out by hand. And this year they’re back in big patches of the lawn. Many thanks.

I actively grow it, in an area beside the grass and also one of my paths, for bees

As clover fixes nitrogen with its roots, it also reduces the need to use fertilisers on grassland, and is used by farmers in mixed keys to improve the quality of the grass in an environmentally sound way; so unless a pure grass sward is important to you, clover can be seen as a real benefit to a lawn in many ways.
